So it was another WAC night.... Good thing that I cud finally submit my WAC in time .. at 07:20 a.m. :)
4th night out in this week. and another one in the offing .. woooooooofffffff....
Here in AIM we sixth floorites have made a rule that we'll not say its today unless we've slept last night ... or in other words .. if it is a night out then today has not yet happened... it is yet to happen .. so although it is already 10:00 a.m., I don't accept that its 20th October... nah .. its 19th ... how can it be 20th, if I've not slept on 19th night ?????
whatever............ :D
So now the title of this post ... Dard-E-Dil..
I've kinda found a new-found respect for this song thanks to my dear room mate Kapil .. Kapil Dhar .... "Kapil 'Kapil' kataye ja ..... "
This morning, I went to pee and there I heard him singing this song while taking bath.... Wowww.. he was singing this soooooo wellll ....I always believed in his singing capabilities ... but it was something very very special ... direct from the heart ... so very real .. so very "dard se bhara"...
WSo here I'm .. listening and singing the song .. for the ..... nth number of times ...
"Dard -e - dil , dard- e - zigar.... dil me jagaya, aapne ....."

My room-mate's Alarm
Its ringing again .... pin pin pin pin .... pin pin pin pin.....
I don't know why... can't understand the logic behind it ..
In totality, my friend sleeps for more than 6-8 hrs in a day, but each time he'll go to bed, he'll ask me to wake him up after 15 or 30 mins. I'll try to make him understand that 15 or 30 min sleep is not going to make much of a difference, make it 1 hr atleast. He'll say, "R u sure amartya?? So jaoon? yaar padha to nahi ja raha, bahut neend aa rahi hai!". And then I'd suggest him not to worry and to sleep properly, so that when he'll wake up his efficiency will be more.
And then, before me waking him up, his mobile's alarm bell will first start ringing after exactly 1 hr. He'll wake up and press "SNOOZE" option. So the alarm will ring again after 5 mins, and he'll respond as exactly what he did last time. This process will continue for another one hour atleast and then he'll suddenly jump out of his bed ... "Yaar amartya, tune jagaya nahi yaar".
By the way, that bloody alarm is ringing again and I feel like !@##$$%%^^.....

ECO Exam
I used to tell my room-mates, "Sleep properly before exam. Don't be too greedy, you can not study and memorize everything". Alas, I forgot to follow this myself before ECO exam.
I kept on studying til 4:45 a.m. and since I wasn't getting any sleep, played PAC-MAN till 6:00 a.m.
In order to get proper sleep, I bunked QA lecture but then I'd to attend OM's 1st lecture so got up at 08:30 a.m. When I came back after taking lunch and attending OM and MCP's lecture, my head was almost spinning. I simply crashed in to bed at about 13:45 hrs.
I finally got up at around, 15:30, but was still feeling very tired. so took bath and went for the ECO Open book final exam starting at 16:00.
For the first 20 min I was not able to understand anything. Not because paper was tough, but also 'coz I was not able to think :(. I went out and buy myself a coffee and only then felt little better. However, by then the time pressure had started taking its toll.
Whatever, I feel I could have done much better in this paper. I so desperately wanted to.
I do like Macro Economics and believe that my fundas are clear.
Neway thats past, in future, I'll try not to commit any such blunder again.
